The date is etched in blood in Utah and Mormon church history and, on a more intimate level, the family trees of people like Karen Maxwell, a mother of eight and choir teacher from Salt Lake City.

On Sept. 11, 1857, Mormon militiamen led the slaughter of 120 men, women and children on a wagon train bound for California in an incident known as the Mountain Meadows Massacre.

Here's some creepy numerology for you. I didn't know of this "coincidence" until I just googled this event and did the math(I had heard of it before but didn't know the details). I'm sure someone's long discovered this but here it is anyhow.

September 11, 2001 minus September 11, 1857 equals 144.

Go read Psalm 144 from the KJV bible King James Version of the Holy Bible | Christian Classics Ethereal Library

It's eerily spot on to the events. At least as far as murder goes....

I haven't read the posted article all the way yet, was too caught up with my calculator.
