This would be the most depressing movie ever !! Although, I am sure Hollywood would drool over the pro communist stance of the book. Actually surprised a movie was never made now that you mention it.

These is a Scott Turow book I read a long time ago that I thought was great called "Burden of Proof". I always wondered why his book "Presumed Innocent" was more popular, made into a movie, etc...
I think "burden of Proof" would be a great flick in the same genre as Presumed Innocent.

this ship has probably sailed though.
