I soo love her Virgin River and Grace Valley series. I'm so happy to find out there's a new one now and 3 new ones coming out next year.
Nicole, I'm a fan. She's a brand-new discovery for me and I just glommed about 7 of her books -- everything in her Grace Valley and Virgin River series. Love them! Love the heart and the humor. The humor really surprised me. I'm not normally a "laugh-out-loud" kind of reader, but I giggled my way through the Grace Valley series in particular and hit some high notes with the Virgin River series as well. Like you, I'm thrilled there will be 3 new Virgin River books in the spring. Yippee!
I'm a fan as well. I discovered her through another author's message board a few months ago. I haven't read the Grace Valley ones yet, but I devoured the Virgin River series, including the latest Christmas book.

Sandy, the Grace Valley books are good and well worth the read. Not really romance. AAR (All About Romance) calls them "Women's Fiction." That might be a better description. There IS a romance and it spans all three books, but the romance element to this series is very, very subtle. Which was fine with me -- I just had so much fun with the characters and the humor that I didn't care.
Once I started reading the Virgin River books, I was thrilled that Carr brought in June and John, especially -- two main characters from the Grace Valley series -- but also their spouses and a couple other familiar faces. It was like a reunion!

Exactly! I love that she does that - it makes it all connect together. She's very funny (and loves her marines, lol).
I like the way she writes, so I'm sure I'd enjoy the Grace Valley books. I might just sit down one day at the bookstore and read one very soon.
