So... my husband has been an F. Paul Wilson fan for quite some time - pretty much read everything that guy has ever put pen to paper, and he's been bugging the you-know-what out of me to start reading them.
I finally picked up The Keep - and that is a pretty freakin' awesome book!! I'm not done with it yet, but I really like it. Pacing is great, characters are well developed without going into sub-character bios ad nauseum and the denoument is fabulous (OK - am I a total book nerd or WHAT???).
I just want to hear from all the other F. Paul Wilson fans.
I'm a pretty big snob about writing and tend to pick apart even the most seasoned writer (cough *Peter Straub* cough)
, but I really have NO complaints with Mr. Wilson's writing or story-telling.
Thoughts from my fellow book nerds??
