I read sTORI Telling, just picked up Mommywood ($17 at Walmart instead of SRP of $25)

So far, I think Tori's 2nd book is better.

I've yet to buy Stories from Candyland and was not going to but with all of the stuff in the press about their "feud" I'll pick it up to read what she has to say.

Anyone else reading either of these books?

Lets just say that Tori is the better writer of the family. I read both of her books and laughed and enjoyed both of them. Candy's book is awful and I am mad at myself for buying it. Candy can not write and there is not a complete stream of thought in the whole book. I suffered through the first 150 pages, and gave up. It is so weird that they can say so much more to each other through books then in public.......

Yeah, I had a feeling that's how Candy's would be.
I've read some of her stuff that she writes for the newspaper, wasn't impressed.

I saw her on Access Hollywood where she said Tori stopped calling her dad when he wasn't useful to her in the business; said Tori was exploiting her kids; which to me is funny. If Tori didn't have her kids on TV or in articles, Candy wouldn't even know what they look like. It was Candy's comments that made me decide I'd buy the book to skim through it to see what she says about Tori.

Candy claims to not have read Tori's books which she should.
When Tori talks about Candy she says.. this is what I remember.. I don't know how normal families are except for what I saw on TV

Finished Mommywood - very enjoyable book. Liked it better then sTORI Telling.

In Candy's book, does she write about Tori? Yeah, probably a stupid question. Gonna go out and try to find the book.

She does write about Tori growing up, and responds to some of the things that Tori has said in the media, but it is not a complete story. Candy's book does not really have a plot or a story to tell, it is snippits here and there. Read it in the book store, you will find the spots where she talks about Tori.....

Thanks. I totally forgot to look while I was out. I was going to flip through it first.

oh well.

Her book obviously wasn't one I had to read; was doing so to see what she said about Tori
