When I was working, I would usually have two books going at the same time - one at home and the other at the office - because I simply hated carrying a book back and forth to work. Since most times I walked to work, I wanted my tote to be as light as possible. Now that my time is my own, I usually finish one book before starting on another.
Generally, I have a book I'm reading at work, during breaks, which can take me a week to finish. Then there's a book in my upstairs bathroom which I read when nature is calling. And another book in my living room.
Yes I do. Like someone trying to spin all the plates, I spin books. I have one by the bed, another in the living room, and one in the car. I'm never without a book. If I ever get really sucked into a book, though, I'll read it straight through to the end.
Nope I'm a one book kind of girl . There's been a few times when I was reading 2 books at once, only because I couldn't wait to finish the book I was already reading to start on the second book, but usually I read only one book at a time.
Yup, one in my purse so when I get stuck somewhere waiting I've got something to read and a backup in car. Of course there is one or two on my night stand that I'm reading too.
I've been doing this a lot lately. I find that if I try to read more than 3 at the same time, I don't usually finish them for long periods of time.
Right now I'm actually reading a few design and nonfiction books. I'm learning a lot but I miss reading fiction. I just don't want to add another book to the mix.
My daughter reads 2 - 4 books at a time. It drives me INSANE, lol. I'll find half read books all over the house.
