The best non-fiction....no the best book *period* that I have ever read. (how does a non-fiction make you cry? Especially when you are expecting the assassination???)

I have been meaning to read this book for almost a year. My book club is doing it next, we picked something big since we take the summer off. Maybe we should discuss it here eventually!

I really like Doris Kearns Goodwin, we share the same birthday. I haven't read "Team of Rivals" but I know it's a good book. I did read her book on "Truman". Also, I really enjoyed her autobiography "Wait 'til next Year". I couldn't put it down. She is an avid fan of baseball and the Boston Red Sox.
