My copy of the complete Mother Goose I had as a kid.
Seriously, it's like comfort food.
Probably THE first book I ever read. Raised my kids on it. When my original book wore out I spent years scouring eBay and other online sources until I located another copy of it.

Ray Mear's "Bushcraft". Be prepared and all that... For pleasure it would have to be maybe Maupassant's "Short stories", Saki's "Short Stories" or something by Steinbeck like "Travels with Charley" or "The Grapes of Wrath" or maybe to cheer me up the PG Wodehouse Collection. Yes I know I am being greedy.

"The Experts Speak" as a reminder that the so-called "experts" can be as full of it as anyone else.

Oh, if I could have my Bible on my phone, then I would bring Jane Eyre... it never gets old!

LOL

I'm torn....Either The Poisonwood Bible, or The Stand. Both I've read a dozen or more times, and discover more each time.

The phone book. It's amazing what a wealth of information is published within.
