These books caught me totally by surprise. I started reading them because I have a teenage daughter (who, it turns out, is not interested in the series) and I wanted to see what the books were about.
Once I started I could not stop reading them until I finished the last one three weeks later.

Funnily enough I could see all the flaws in the books, there were many things I would question for example the totally unhealthy and almost obsessive relationship between Bella and Edward that did not seem to grow from a mutual appreciation and understanding but from such things as her her smell (?).

It was a very interesting experience.

Well, I started reading Midnight Sun last night on SM website after I read about it here. I actually finished all 12 chapters and I too wish I could get the entire story from Edwards point of view. It seems to be a lot more action through his eyes. I can't wait to see if she actually do write them...who knows...this series just keeps getting me more and more hooked...call me a sucker for drama..lol

I read maybe fifty pages of the first one, and then tossed it.

I suggested this series to my daughters who laughed and said "we already read those", they are 27 and 30. Thought being a teen readers series it would not be as good but the sexual tension makes one want to see if...when...Great series!
