Has anyone here read Garden of the last days? And if so how was it?

Yes, I have read it. I would read anything by Dubus. I liked it, but, I thought House of Sand and Fog was better. Now, these are written by Andre Dubus III. His dad is Andre Dubus, a great author. As a matter of fact, I am in the process of ordering Dubus books from Amazon as we speak.

You're welcome Peony. I strongly recommend House of Sand and Fog. It was a finalist for the National Book Award for fiction. The plot is so different from most books we hear about every day. That alone made me want to read it. The movie was pretty true to the book. It was heartbreaking though. By the time I was at the end, I was pulling for everyone, but, only one side could win.
