I made the mistake of scheduling our family vacation when #6 came out 2 summers ago. I said I wasn't going to buy it while we were gone but then I couldn't stand it so I bought it. Then I kept thinking of reasons to go back to the hotel so I could read. This year my husband reminded me about #7 when we were making vacation plans so I won't do that again.

It sounds stupid, but I'm really going to be sad when it's all over.

BTW, I read somewhere that 30% of the books are bought for adults....

Does this mean that I am NOT an unnatural father? After all, ripping off the books you buy for your kids isn't THAT big a deal.
