I like sitting on my balcony, with a cold drink, and my pugs at my feet best when I read.

When I read in bed, I usually end up falling asleep because I get too comfortable.

I also like to have a book with me anytime I think I might have to wait in line. DMV, post office, etc.

Where do you do most of your reading?

I love reading in bed, especially now during winter.

My favorite spot to read used to be in bed -- I could lie there for hours, propped on pillows, shifting from time to time to get more comfortable. Alas! My eyes get too tired, and I can only read for extended periods if I am somewhere else in the house, and then, where I read can be anywhere. I especially enjoy the great natural light either in the sunroom, or the family room on the back of the house with its Southern exposure.

On a rainy day -- my literary day -- nothing could be better than curling up, under a throw, with my little Cairn in the > of my legs, gently stroking his ears, and poring over a good book. Ah, bliss!

I do miss the days of being on a beach, the sound of the breaking waves in the background, warm, warm sunshine, and racing through some trashy, trashy paperback. Now, that's some good readin' !

I like to read in bed but the older I get the faster I seem to fall asleep.

Most of my reading - probably reclining on my couch.

I currently live about sixty miles from where I work. I have an hour-and-20-minute train ride in the morning and in the evening. That is my reading time.

When I read at home, which I plan to do later today, I stretch out on my couch with some snacks on the coffee table and a couple of cats nearby.

Either in bed, on the couch or at a cafe for lunch.

That's why I love my new iPhone - I have the free Kindle app on there so even if I forget my paperback and get stuck somewhere when I could use it, I have some books on my phone. It's so handy!

I like to read in my car while I am waiting for the kids to get out of school. I like to read while waiting at doctor appointments. My favorite reading spot at home is in my big bed or on the loveseat near the fireplace.

I read mostly in bed. But have to be careful that I don't get so engrossed in my book that I forget to geta good nights sleep. I also keep a book in the car for when I am waiting to pick a child up from an activity or school.

The men in my house do the bulk of their reading in the bathroom..........

I like to read on the tree when it's not cold.
