Can anybody recommend any good Greek or Roman Mythology books? Something like the Percy Jackson series but more for adults.

You mean novels? "Helen of Troy" by Margaret George is about the Trojan War from Helen's point of view. Not a huge amount of mythology in the way of Gods and Goddesses in it but Aphrodite does make an appearance and there's some mystical elements when Helen has the ability to have out-of-body experiences and be a first hand witness to the battles (which is really just a way for the author to write in first person but still describe events when Helen isn't there). I'd say most of the novels based on Greek Mythology are about the Trojan War.

"The King Must Die" by Mary Renault is about Theseus.

Here's some lists that other people have made:
Spartan Girl!: Books Based on Greek Mythology
Amazon.com: Novels Based on Greek Mythology (http://www.amazon.com/Novels-Based-on-Greek-Mythology/lm/R270269FQ1PV8E - broken link)
Mythology, Greek › Fiction | LibraryThing

I'm not sure you'll find adult novels based in modern day times about Gods and Goddesses like in "Percy Jackson" - I think that kind of concept doesn't really appeal to adults.

I only know of The Illiad, The Odyssey, and The Aeneid.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman largely stars gods from Norse and Egyptian mythos in modern guise. Can't think of anything else that comes close.

Anything by Mary Renault is good; she has quite a few but the aformentioned is the most famous (and really good).
There is also The Firebrand by Marion Zimmer Bradley, which you will love.

Cassandra by Christa Wolf is an interesting tale. It revisits the Trojan war through the eyes of the titular prophet.

Amazon.com: Mythology (9780316341516): Edith Hamilton: Books
A required reading in many schools...and enjoyable as well.

Also, 'Hero with 1,000 Faces' etc.

You know, the old Educator's Classic Library edition of The Heroes is available in used condition plenty of places if you look, and that's still one of the best renditions I have read since I first enjoyed it as a child.

"Gods, Heroes and Men of Ancient Greece", by W H D Rouse.

This is a wonderfully readable book. I first heard of it when my 6-year-old son and I were driving through Iowa, and it was being read in installments on Iowa Public Radio. As I listened to it, I realized my son was also rapt with attention, so I asked him if I should get the book and read it to him. (We had just finished "Wizard of Oz"---the print version where Dorothy's shoes are silver.) So I ordered "Gods . . ." , and read it aloud to him, and it was such a delight for both of us. Written in 1934, this book is as fresh today as ever, and deserves to be the classic that it is.

This is the book I was taught Greek Mythology with in 7th grade. It's great as an intro to the classic myths but it's not a novel so I don't think it's what the OP is looking for.
