I'm a single professional in my early 30's who's driving most of the time. I found a great condo on Centre St in Hyde Square, across Mozart playground and was wondering how safe is this area (including Walden and Round Hill streets). Although I will hardly ever use the T in Jackson Square, I would like to go to Stop & Shop and was wondering about the playground, especially at night, as well as the big project a block away (is it the Bromley Heath project?) I need a veteran JP insider to tell me about the neighborhood.
I really liked the place I saw, and I really like JP, but I'm not sure about the safest part of it. I would like to be able to walk my dog in the dark, walking by myself during the day and night and not to be concerned about coming and leaving my home.
Also, does anybody know about the new development across from Jackson Sqaure station?
