My boyfriend and I are flying out of Logan airport on Saturday 7/24 and flying back on Thursday the 29th and are looking for cheap long term parking. Parking at the airport will cost us about $170. Logan has a cheaper lot for about $108 but unforunately it looks like its underconstruction and I'm sure the spaces are limited. $108 is alittle better, but it would be nice to find something cheaper. It would also be nice and unlikely to find long term parking that is free! I was also thinking about having a limo service that will pick us up at my nearby relatives house (they are working during the times we would need a ride), but I'm not sure where to look or who is the best and cheapest company. If you have any ideas that I haven't thought of yet or know of any alternatives that are much cheaper please let us know!

Thankyou!

What times are your flights into and out? Maybe you should check out a hotel that does offer if
you do stay one nite free parking. Braintree, the Sheraton or Arlington hotels may work for you.
go to the Logan airport shuttel service line and check out pick-up. It really depends on the cost of the limo service, time etc. for 170.00 you might get a special hotel b4 the flight with free parking. Also depending on where your relative do live you could leave your car there and if near take a cab to say
the tara in braintree to catch the logan shuttel to the airport. Also you could really save money by doing the T to logan.

There's always the option of parking at Alewife and taking the 'bway. Or, if you're in the western burbs, I swear by the logan express (park, then bus to Logan) in Framingham by shopper's world.

Depending on how "nearby" your relatives live, just taking a taxi to and from the airport may be the best bet.

Our flight out on the 24th is around 6pm and we fly in around noon on the 29th. We live about 4 hours north of Boston and my relatives live about 40 minutes south of Boston and about 20 minutes from Braintree, out near Stonehill College. I appreciate all the great ideas! Keep them coming if you can think of anything, options are great =)...I wish traveling wasn't so expensive, but sometimes the fun is worth the hassle!

You are four hours north of Logan? Are you from Maine, NH or VT? It would really help us with suggestions for you if you could be more specific about where you live.

There are also Greyhound/Peter Pan buses that go to Logan Airport. You should check on that.

Or maybe rent a car. Sometimes you can find a cheap rental with unlimited miles. Drop off the rental at the Logan airport location and take their free shuttle to your airline terminal.

Well check out your bus and Amtrak schedules and rates into Logan and the Boston area.

I have a friend up in Portland, ME. I don't recall it ever being a 4 hour drive to visit her. More like an under two hour trip for me.

According to Google Maps, Portland, Maine to Logan Airport is only 104 miles and a one hour and 55 minute drive.

Miu has a good idea with taking the bus or train from Maine. That suggestion also reminded me of Boston Express Boston Express The buses go to Logan and leave from several points in New Hampshire and I believe parking is free or relatively inexpensive. Not sure if there is a convenient spot for you to leave from. Parking & Fees The bus fare is about $30-$35 round trip.
