Sure BOS makes for a nice getaway for a New Yorker. Comm Ave most certainly is ritzy. Think condo for 5 million. The RITZ is actually one block away from where you googled.

Yeah, sure, do a weekend in BOS. One thing it has over NY is the historical preservation back to revolutionary - even medievel times. You'll enjoy the Garden, the Common, etc.

I would love to see the historic preservation of medieval sites in Boston? I have lived there my whole life but somehow missed them.

You happened upon the right place, the Comm Ave Promenade from Mass Ave. to the Public Garden is one of the most pleasant urban walks you'll find anywhere.

Well I guess it's a stretch really. I had heard about this "Medieval Boston" thing some time back and recalled being at first skeptical of the whole notion then somewhat impressed afterwards at the veracity of the concept. So I just googled it and I expected it to pop right up but it actually didn't which in itself is evidence of the dubious nature of the concept. Anyhoo, after 3 minutes of digging, I believe the whole concept manifested in the form of a photo-essay at least. Perhaps that is all there is/was to it, but FWIW here it is - certainly interesting, perhaps not entirely credible but as they say - "it is what it is" ...
