Are there any other alarm companies in Boston area besides ADT? For $45/mo ($250 install) they give the most basic monitoring - without keyfob or iphone access. And this is with house being completely prewired. I was quoted nearly a $1000 installation for ADT "Pulse" if I wanted iphone access and $67/mo. Yaiks!

My friend recently installed one of these systems in his home:

It's entirely wireless so I'm thinking if you're mildly handy you could probably install it yourself. If not, they do have installers they'll set you up with. The iPhone/Android apps they have are very cool and it seems like a pretty good system.
