Hello,

I would like to get some insight on commutation from Framingham to Boston.

My apartment is 5 miles away from Framingham railway station and 7 miles away from west natick.

I work in Boston near back bay station and plan to use commuter rail from framingham or west natick.

Could someone please help me to know the traffick in morning (Worcester road) to drive to framingham/west natick railway station and parking facilities in railway station? What would be the ideal time in morning to get rid of traffic? How about the pubic transportation in framingham to reach railway station?

Appreciate your help on this.

Thanks,
KK

I don't think traffic on Rt 9 (Worcester Rd) from Framingham to Natick is bad, but why are you not taking Rt 135 if you plan to drive to W. Natick station? However, Rt 135 is slower and many more lights. The intersection at 126 is horrible.

W. Natick station has a parking lot. You can check mbta.com for the number of spaces and daily charge. I always see it packed so it's best to get there early.

I'm not so sure commutation is a real word, but I like the sound of it!

To the original poster - I'm sure you meant no harm, but you might want to take another look at your username.

OP hasn't logged on in almost four years, but in answer to the original post, MetroWest RTA serves the Framingham and West Natick commuter rail stations.
