I just read a three-year-old thread with that title that prompted me to post this. I was a wizard with the old manual cameras, and I'd like to be with my fancy digital camera. I take some great pictures, but I'm not the expert I once was.

I know that there are adult ed courses around, but mostly they're at night, and I am a danger on the road at night, to myself and to others.

Can anyone suggest a good course--workshop--class--in digital photography in the Boston area during the day? I've just had another grandchild and my motivation has doubled.

Lynda.com has all the photography courses you could want, anytime you want. Scott Kelby also has his own online courses at Kelbytraining.com.

No need for pricey classes.

I think,, though, that Barney may have wanted to get out and meet people during the day. I wonder if one of the Senior Centers might have classes.

Meeting people isn't the goal -- and although I meet the criteria, I'm <<way>> too young for Senior Centers. :-) I'm more interested in a class because I've found that for me, more learning happens in a group setting.

I'll check out the online courses, though, thanks very much!
