My child is 3 year old and is attending full day special ed with 1:1 aide in the local public preschool. We love this program! I am going to relocate to MA (Boston MetroWest area) and I am looking for public preschools with good special ed over there. I checked with some districts (Newton, Wellesley, Wayland, Sudbury, Hopkinton, Southborough, Acton), but I was not able to receive clear info. I found on the web that most preschools in MetroWest area have 4 days/week schedule instead of 5 days/week. I also heard that it's very possible for the preschools to reduce our special ed from full day to half day and to modify our IEP with less speech/ OT services, due to the budget cut in MA. I want my child to have the same special ed in MA as she has in my current town. I am trying to find as much info as possible to help me determine which town to move to (and which towns to avoid). I'd really appreciate any opinions and suggestions.. Thanks a lot!

In Southboro, there is an integrated preschool on a 5 day schedule if you qualify. It is a very reputable program.
