I'm thinking of moving to the South End... I work near the Cape a few days a week, and was considering leaving my car overnight at the Middleborough/Lakeville station on work days (i.e., taking the train to/from Boston, using my car to get back and forth from work). I know "officially" overnight parking is not permitted at this station, but it seems to be loosely enforced (also, parking between 1 and 7 days seems to be a gray area). Any thoughts? Will I just have to pay an extra $4 for parking overnight? Thanks!

I wouldn't risk it given the thefts that have occurred.

Think about it this way. If there is security then they'll give a ticket and in the worse case tow a car. If there is no security then you might be more apt for theft.
