Anyone know whether Truman Parkway through Milton receives a ton of commuter traffic in the morning and afternoon? My family and I are looking at a house that would put us a street or two away from this parkway. Is it more like a highway with the noise, exhaust, etc. that one would expect or is it more like a busy city street?
Thanks!

Default Truman highway

The name is misleading. It is more of a parkway than a highway. Two lanes on each side, with a tree-lined grass median in the middle. I run along this road often and I don't think noise and traffic would be audible two blocks away.

I know this area well, I do not believe that you will be bothered by it as I agree with tripmama. Specially if you are in the hill areas that are off of the parkway. I still stop at "Cappy's Pizza on the corner of Fairmount and Truman, good slice of pizza and a decent sub. Greek Style (thought I would toss that in)
