I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn near Mass General and saw there is a an AMC movie theatre on Tremont St.
Is it safe to walk during the evening and how long would the walk be. Thanks!!

It's about a 15 minute walk going down Joy Street and cutting across the Common.

There's really no place in downtown Boston that's unsafe to walk in the evening. Beacon Hill is one of the safest neighborhoods in the city. The Common might have some strange characters in the middle of the night, but nothing to be worried about, especially for an evening stroll.
