Hi everyone i was just wondering if I could get some thoughts. I may be moving down to Waltham but before i do i would like to know what the scene is like. I have been down their once or twice but never got a true feel for the area. I'm a single recent college grad in my low 20's and i would definitely be looking for a place where i have the opportunity to meet new people, go out to bars, meet girls and have access to getting into Boston and other surrounding areas. I may be going down there with another friend but i"m just not sure if it will be the right fit for me. Also is there any way to get into Boston from Waltham on the weekends and get back to Waltham without having to stay in a hotel in the city? Any thoughts or suggestions, i'd be grateful to hear them. Thanks!!

Waltham is good for meeting college students and grad students, which seems to be OK for you as far as I can tell. You'll want to be in the Moody Street area. The 70 bus from Waltham to Cambridge runs pretty late along Main Street / Route 20. Any sense for where you'll be working?
