Philadelphia and Boston aren't Vegas, but Philadelphia is definitely more loose and fun than Boston is.

On paper and in the streets. I've been out in both plenty. Moreso Philly, because it's more fun.
Massachusetts decriminalized pot in 2012 and medical use was put in place in 2008. Both before Pennsylvania. Massachusetts is generally very loose on pot.

When you have to make statements like that, who is the one with the real complex?
Obviously you, the Philly person that has a Boston inferiority complex as seen from your posts.

Why is Boston's reputation protected at all costs on here?
You're whining about Boston even on the Philly forum! LOL.

Of all states, PA actually has the most restrictive alcohol laws I have ever heard of. Never been to Utah though.

They both offer world class museums, urbanity, culture, architecture, sports, food, all that good stuff. They both have history.
+1, i have to wait to rep you again.

yeah, strangest thing. you cant buy liquor in a beer store and you cant buy beer in a liquor store (that like having to make 2 stops to the peanut butter store and then to the jelly store).
by law all the liquor stores are owned by the state and they dont carry all brands of liquor.

NH is like that, too, no? I think it is pretty common.

The interesting thing is that suddenly the grocery stores are finally getting into the beer and wine game.

Unfortunately that's all we have to work with until US News & World Report releases their Most Boring Cities in America rankings.
