Miu, I enjoy hiking, volunteering at animal shelters, art museums. Jobwise, I'm a legal secretary. Do you know how the jobmarket is in Boston right now?

I'm afraid I don't know about the job market. Have you perused the ads on craigslist or in the Boston Sunday Globe? I feel that even with the real estate market turmoils, the overall feeling in Boston is very positive in terms of its energy. Otherwise, I live in Newton and I like Belmont and Arlington as towns that are on the T buslines and they don't have an urban feel to them. Do you have any time to visit the area and just get a feel for the neighborhoods?

No, I'm going to start looking at the Boston Globe. I was in the area in 2005 while living in Florida. I was trying to decide whether to move back to NYC (I had left in 2003) or to Boston, where I've never lived before but have always loved the surrounding areas--Cape Cod, Northampton, Maine. I stayed in Brookline and loved it. Also liked Arlington. I should re-visit. That's interesting that you feel a sense of optimism there.
