My family is going to be moving to Boston for a new job in possibly 3-4 weeks...yikes!!!! Its crazy how fast this is happening. Anyway, we're looking to rent a single family home 3/2, garage and basement if possible. price range is from 1500-2000 per month. We have a 1 month old son so safety is important and we'd like to be in a family oriented area. I will be working at Harvard in the beginning (maybe some at BU) but the company I am working for will probably set up shop full time near the Watertown/Lincoln or Newton area. We are looking to live somewhere in between if possible. Can anybody tell me about Newton, Medford or Brookline? Is our price range reasonable for these areas? Is there any place else we should be considering? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Nothing is impossible... just your expectation of the property.

You have a better chance in getting an apartment than a single family house.
