Goodluck with the game but BC is pretty much the new South Carolina....they can't stop nobody from the South (Too much power down @ Clemson). Kiss ACC title game goodbye. I'm just checking these forums cause i'm thinking about moving to Boston....but i haven't seen any good vibe yet.

Just go to Fenway Park. Many clubs and bars are on Lansdowne St.

Lansdowne is a good suggestion, there are a ton of clubs and bars right there. Closer to Copley there is Saint on Exeter (more of a club, altough kinda euro trashy) and the alley off of Boylston by tremont. I would push lansdowne though as the alley gets kinda townie.

A great sports bar is the Cask N' Flaggon over in Kenmore Square, right next to Fenway Park.

As far as watching the BC game, i'm sure it will be on, but not too many people in the northeast care for college football. I love it and have a small group of friends who love watching it also, but most of my friends could care less about college sports.

Apparently, BC... For being such a small college (9K undergrad, 4.5K grad) can fill 44,500 seat stadium. Go figure?

I've been to almost every BC game this year and they don't sell out many of the games. The only ones they sell out are against the top-tier teams. When they played Army, Bowling Green, and even Florida State, there was a lot of empty seats.

A 44,500 stadium isn't that big compared to other college football stadiums. Last I checked they were still selling tickets to the last home game against Miami. I went to the Clemson/BC game last year and there was more Clemson fans than BC fans.

I was at that game too, sitting with the other Clemson parents.

Yeah... Clemson... Only 17K kids can fill a 80K seat stadium.

Well, I'm used to South Carolina University where in one year they went 1-10 and still sold 65,000 season tickets the day they went on sale for the next season. No matter or how bad they were the 80,000+ stadium was always packed.

I'm just saying with the population of metro Boston you don't get a lot of people that go or care that much about B.C. games. People around here prefer professional sports over college sports.
