This Saturday my hubby and I will be moving daughter into her new apartment, and staying at the Buckminster on Kenmore Square. We live in western CT but are big Boston sports fans, and the opportunity to share that love with fellow fans is rare here in Jets-Giants-Yankees land.

So we thought it would be fun to hit a good sports bar Saturday night to watch the Patriots playoff game. Any recommendations? We'd like to be able to actually see (and maybe even hear) the game, enjoy pub food and have a few beers. Thanks in advance for advice! Maybe we'll see you there …

You'll have a bunch within walking distance from your hotel since you're next to Fenway.

I like Jerry Remy's on Boylston. Jerry Remy's Sports Bar & Grill - Fenway - Boston, MA

Game On on Lansdowne is another good one, and a block from your hotel. Game On - Fenway - Boston, MA

You probably won't be the only ones in Boston trying to do just that, so I'd aim to get where ever you go early to get a good spot.

Good point about getting there early. Shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the pointers, Bostonians! Can't wait for the game!
