Please post your cheap parking garages in Boston to any area for any event here.

Like Theatre district, Chinatown, Northend, BankNorth Garden, ....

I love to find something that is less than $10.

If you go to the theater district, then park at the Transportation building at 10 Park Plaza. You can't miss it, it's on the same block as P.F. Chang's restaurant located at 8 Park Plaza, directly behind the Four Seasons Hotel complex. Drive down Kneeland St. all the way until you have to turn right and it's that building right there. Okay that's covering the theater district area of Boston. The reason why I'm telling you to park there is because if you go to any of the surrounding restaurants here? They'll validate your parking ticket and it's a few dollars OFF the rate. Remember that....

If you want to go to the North End for dinner and don't know where to park? Go to Commerical St. and park either at Lewis Wharf which is located right next to the Boston Yacht Haven Inn or one of the many open parking lots across the street from here. It's not bad to park here during the week.

If you get in to Boston after 4PM? Then park at the Post Office Square garage, it's clean, safe and plenty of security guards driving around. It's cheap too, it's only $9 to park all night long, that's during the week as well as on weekends. Go to their site to read about it and how it works here.
po square dot com. If you are near the Boston Common Garage it's set up the same way. Go there after 4 PM during the week and it's $9, you can't beat it with a stick. Weekends it's cheap too! (If there's a will there's a way!) If you want to be in Boston you CAN bring your car, you just have to know where to put it. So now you know...GO!

Hyatt (old Lafayette) in Downtown crossing in the evening was $10 for the evening. Good option for Chinatown.

Default Cheap parking garages in Boston?

When I lived in Boston I remember you could park under Boston Common for like $6.00. I dont know if that is still the case, but its worth a try. That was in 2003.

Default Parking rate map

Just found this parking rate map from city of Boston. I don't think they comprehend the game day parking rate

Default Unfortunately,

Parking in any downtown garage is not only expensive, but can be a big hassle to even get to. Generally, what I do, if I'm going to a show or whatever anywhere downtown, I'll drive to the Lechmere Station (I live not far from there), park at a meter, and then take the Green Line MBTA train into town. it's easier that way, and I don't have the hassles or expenses of parking downtown.

Interesting... are the parking meter more than 2 hours? Finding parking near there easy? Also, for people living in the suburb, I do not think driving to the lechmere station is much easier. is it?

Here's a better site for parking rates...

If you're going to Chinatown and happen to eat at Hei La Moon, you can park in the lot next to the restaurant and get the ticket stamped. Not sure what the discount is since I only go on Sundays, but that's what my friend told me.
