This just hit me. If you lived in the North Station area, you could drive to Newton via Storrow Dr. and the Pike. The morning commute may be OK but the PM drive can be horrid.

What have you done for me lately?
Don't know if you expected an answer, but she's fine w/my long commute for the most part. I started working flex hours so I'm home by 4pm a couple times a week. It's hard leaving the house by 6am, but it's worth it to get home early enough to bring the kids to activities and attempt to cook dinner (Taco Tuesday?) while my wife gets some alone time to go to the gym, etc.
