I haven't actually watched any of his interviews. I don't think he played a hero in the movie -- more of just a PITA.

I'm not from Boston but I've always lived in MA and I don't want to see this movie or be reminded of the tragedy. No way do I want to see anyone profit off such sadness and disaster. I don't want the idiots who did this to even be remembered either.

Do you also seel this way about the movie The Town?

Affleck and Damon are close friends.. I can't help but think Marky Mark was in that Cool Club as well, as far as the Boston celebs go.

I agree that their collective filmmaking efforts, with the exception of Good Will Hunting, The Town, The Departed, and debateably Jason Bourne, The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) was spectacular and is the best Bourne hands-down ever.. suck.

Having known people that were there as spectators (one has a photo of the bomber) and actually running I just don't see the point. From what I understand not much money is going to go to the victims.

I think Boston movies are being too stereotyped in the mob/crime concept. Might be nice to have a medical drama.

I'd personally like to see a musical that pits yuppie kendall square techbros against some old school townies.

I never expected Patriots Day to be an accurate Ken Burns style documentary, rather just a Hollywood B-movie that was inspired by what happened... and that's exactly what it is. Plus how can anyone expect an hour and a half movie theatre format to include every detail and pay tribute to all the victims?

I wish there would be a movie set in Boston that actually reflects the reality of the city, not preoccupied with wanna be tough guys and criminals and native sons who live in southern California but act like they're Mr. Boston.

I was there. In front of Max brenners when bomb 2 went off. It was such a sad sad day. As someone who has been a Marathon spectator for 20 years i can whole heartedly say that It will never be the same. The fact that Mark Wallburg jumped all over this opportunity to exploit something that I know i never want to relive rubs me the wrong way. I still get pretty emotional walking down that street. I don't need a box office money grab to remind me how gross the intentions of those two brothers were. And how equally gross the intentions of hollywood is.
