To be fair that Southie is dying out. You've got to have a cushy job in the seaport or downtown to be able to afford the place, unless you're willing to live in a cramped space with lots of roommates and not much disposable income. I doubt the "white trash" from back then is still around.

I thought Boston was absolutely amazing, we were out at cheers for our honeymoon and we were really worried because it started getting dark and we thought all the hoodlums and gang bangers would be flooding the parks but there were still nice people out playing with their dogs and they had LED Frisbees and such.


Very nice place .... VERY expensive. I would love to live there and take classes at MIT.


BTW MIT was 50% Asian so I doubt they are racist.

I wouldn't call Boston racist. I would say that it tends to be Classist.

Boston is both; amazing AND expensive!
