It's within walking distance to Northeastern. I'd recommend it for that reason. No point in a long commute while you're studying.

That's just me.
Would you please name a few area you wouldn't want to live in?

I can't answer that for you. I'll just say there may be other areas I'd prefer to live in over that particular area in Mission Hill

Do you have any other options for areas to live in that might be a tad bit closer to Northeastern? Fenway area perhaps? Park Drive? Areas north of Huntington from Louis Prang up to Mass Ave? Back Bay? Guess it all depends on your budget.

Couldn't help but get a huge chuckle out of this analogy! The OP is from India and sausage is likely anathema to him! Maybe a samosa & curry party instead?

Not surprised about the others but definitely wondering why Comm Ave near BU? surely not due to safety concerns...

Yup, busy, nothing appealing to me, buttloads of annoying BU kids or Fenway folks.
I have no reason to go to Kenmore now that The Rat is gone, and maybe go to the Paradise once a year. No desire to live there.

I don't have safety concerns really anywhere. I don't want to live places because lack of appealing attributes, not safety issues.
