Wellesley the town (not the school) is the polar opposite of counter culture.

Even BC is not what i'd consider counter culture at all. By countercluture i'd expect more liberal arts and music majors.

Individuals into it can be found anywhere. Harvard definitely had (not sure about now) plenty of it. Heck, I think even Fat Day grew out of there, they at least played weird noise rock shows there plenty in the early 90s (the only time I saw them was with Scotland's very weird Dawson).

I would think that living on campus in Wellesley would be harder to encapsulate yourself in the"counterculture" Sure, you can take a shuttle. But are you really part of the OCCULT
