This is from another poster-he support Wu but got downtvoted by other Asians, who are in here saying they prefer Campbell..

I guess none of that means anything, per BGJ
That's a "nice" collection of racist comments.

Even if it is a small minority, which it probably is, it's still interesting to know that such a sentiment exist.

AEG threw a virtual neighborhood party for Dorchester yesterday. Luckily for her 2 of the 25 people in attendenace were non-white (one of whom is staff of hers) in a 75% minority neighborhood.

You can see that here:

Seems like folks her age, from her area..I hear she’s a moderate and I’m very curious as to what her actual policy is because she’s got no buzz...

AEG represents Neponset, Lower Mills, Adams Village. Not too shocking.

Yea not shocking but not good. I'm only shocked because I'd think she'd have the good sense to try and do better than that.

Even in those neighborhoods, 96% (23/24) of voters aren't white. I doubt seriously its over 80%

She's not even from there shes from the Polish Triangle so I'm like you couldn't even get support from Uphams Corner?? She definitely represents 'white Dorchester''

As soon as she announced her mayoral run folks were criticizing her for saying she's "the face of Boston" I think that's unfair to say that has "winking at racism" but her political acumen might need a slight fine-tune.

The 404 error on her policies page confirmed as much.

She isn't white though. Her father is Tunisian, so she technically should be mixed race; I can imagine she genuinely doesn't feel white being brought up by a Muslim father. (Assuming we are using the American definition of "white person")

Anyway, Boston is still 45% white and I imagine the electorate is even more white. So you need white votes to win.

There is no issues page on the site at all now..

Also

"Not sure I heard this on @radiobostoncorrectly, but @AnnissaForBos said she remembers Commissioner Gross from high school? They graduated 10 years apart." Ick.

But that same account had a good take in just wondering what her policy would be and how her style of politics might transfer city-wide. I don't like to lean into Twitter heavily for critical thinking but this was a really thoughtful and not a judgemental thread.

She's one of the few candidates not screeching for rent control and other city-destroying nutjobbery - good enough to get my vote!

Aside from her not calling for rent control (i don't know any candidate is...maybe Wu). What does she do and what's her angle?

I think she's running off the strength of being a business owner and teacher, which is very respectable but I really worry about back door developer motivations because of her husband. I did not like Marty Walsh kicking money back to his girlfriend that whole time and I wouldn't want to see anything like that again.
