The observation deck of the Prudential Tower will be reopening next spring with a whole new experience. The observation deck will occupy the 50th, 51st, and 52nd floors of the building in the space previously occupied by the Skywalk Observatory and the Top of the Hub Restaurant, which occupied the space since the building opened in the mid 1960's. A bistro, along with an outdoor space and an interactive exhibition helping people plan itinearies will be included in the experience. Will be interesting to see what the admission prices will be.

I mean, it was already pretty pricy before, right? I went in 2017 and think it might've been close to $30 back then!

The admission fee in 2017, was likely $18 and when it closed in 2020, it was $21. Much cheaper than the Empire State Building, Sears Tower, John Hancock Center in Chicago, Top of the Rock, One World Trade Center, the Space Needle, CN Tower, Stratosphere Las Vegas, The Shard, or Burj Khalifa though.

So, I assume they will never include anything like Top of the Hub restaurant, formerly there forever.

But it's very likely they may offer various upscale food options...maybe like a mini deluxe food court?

Looking forward to it. From what I've read, it comes with high expectations and seems it would be almost a must-visit in Boston.

I wonder if they'll offer a senior discount, student discount, etc.

And it would be nice to offer free or cheap chaperoned access to underprivileged youth and student groups, as these types of places are likely off the radar to them otherwise.

There will be a bistro as part of the new observation deck. Think it would be a good idea to have discounts for children, senior citizens, military personnel, students, and Boston area residents.

Neat. I went to one in Seattle, forgot the name of the building but not the space needle. I think it was around $18 or so in 2016. Also went to the Montreal Olympic observation thing.

That building in Seattle is the Columbia Center.
