I'm moving to bsoton in a week. My job is in Prudential Centre on Hunnington Ave. Please advise a place to stay near to work with in subway limits. Can afford $1300 for renting 1BR Apt.Good residential communities with public transporation near by is preferred.

It is not entirely clear what kind of area you want. Nightlife, urban, quiet and suburban, etc. In any event, you should check the T website and become familiar with the T map--if you get something near a station you can save almost half the commute time versus taking a bus to the T.

MBTA Subway 'The 'T' > Maps, Schedules, and Fare Information for the Boston Area Subway System
You can take a look at the interactive map tab on there to see where these stops really are.

The Pru is near the Green line (all four branches--B, C, D and E) and is also pretty close to the Orange line. On the Green line, you could look at the areas of Newton along the D line or anything in Allston or Brighton along the B line, though the B line is slower and full of undergraduate students. Another option is the Cleveland Circle area, on the Brighton/Brookline border. There are students over there as well, but you could take the C line, which is quicker than the B line. Finally, the E line takes you through Mission Hill, which also has plenty of students but also lower rents than some areas.

On the Orange, there is JP (Jamaica Plain), which encompasses the last 4 stops at the southern end. JP is a mixed neighborhood, some areas are very nice and some are more iffy. Of the four stops, Jackson Square is probably the worst area and Green St the best. This area has a lot of nice neighborhood restaurants and young people, but generally not as young as in Mission Hill or Allston. More like 25-35. It's a diverse area with significant Latino and gay populations.

North of Boston, the Orange line leads to Malden and there are some much more affordable apartments near Malden and Oak Grove stations, but the area is much quieter and dominated by locals. Not like living in the city.

If you want sleepy suburbs, a final option, given the proximity to Back Bay station, is to take the commuter rail. 4 lines (Needham, Worcester, Franklin, Providence/Stoughton) pass through Back Bay station and from some of the closer in towns the trip is under 30 mins. Of course you have to follow their schedule and the trains run less often than the regular T does. Those towns are generally more affordable, but like Malden, much quieter than living in the city. Everything closes early.
