Hey, not hay! Charlie on the mta, who did ride! you do know you are from Boston, if you do
recall that song! Then a visit to yes, the zoo at Franklin Park! and yes it was safe way back when! and the swan boats also were neat!

Also you always do root for the Red Sox, away, and far, or near! Once you enter Boston, you have this, Red Sox to Root for, always!
And they win, and why, I had the faith, of Boston! I also did belive! See Boston, just gets to the heart!

Oh yeah, good to be reminded of Charlie on the MTA. And this is another one where you might have to be a certain age, unless you're on the young side and have heard about this from someone older than you: You've most likely had a respectably long association with Boston if you not only remember when the transit system was commonly referred to as the MTA, but you also know something of approximately when, and how, it came to be known as the T.

I love this list. I have family from Boston so it definitely describes them pretty well. Some things I don't get at all though, lol.

BTW, I grew up in central NJ and we always called them jimmies. Sprinkles are used as well, but my first instinct is to call them jimmies. Never heard of a frappe though!

I expatriated to Maine, but this thread brought back a lot of memories.

Re the Old Howard, just taking a stab based on something I'm thinking I might vaguely recall hearing, but wasn't it a burlesque theater?
