I am looking to purchase and wanted to see if anyone is familiar with this area. Is it safe? I read that there is a high gay population, is that true? What are the demographics? Thanks!

It's a very small neighborhood in North Dorchester. I don't know much about it really. Driven through, know the general area. My guess is it is OK, not fab. It's right between Uphams Corner and DOT Ave. I always thought it looked very nice but it's location is kinda so-so.

Do you live in Boston right now? I wouldn't advise buying in Boston before you know the city well enough to make an informed decision. Anyways, here's a good link to get you more info.
