I am driving to Boston next week (from NY) and would like to park my car for 4 or 5 days straight. Is Alewife a safe place to do so? I understand the garage fills up early on weekdays, I am wondering what time in the afternoon do spaces start to become available. I am planning on arriving at 2P.M. or so. Will I be able to find a spot at this time? Thank you.

You can find a spot then. It may take some searching, but it does start to clear out, albeit slowly, after noon. As for whether it is safe, I suppose so. I never hesitated to leave it there for a workday, certainly. It is attended 24 hours. No guarantees, of course, but you should be okay.

I don't know about most weekdays, but it won't be a good idea on a Friday afternoon. It fills up in the morning, but since it's Friday a lot of people wanna make a day trip into Boston and the attendants start letting people park on the ramps (which wouldn't be safe to leave a car for several days).
