we're moving from florida, central A/C captial. (HAHA)
we're wondering what kind of wall unit A/C would be best for the summer months for a 1bd apt that is most energy efficient.

I honestly don't think a specific brand matters. just pick up one labeled energy efficient. the MAJOR thing is to make sure you don't pick up an undersized unit and make sure the BTUs are high enough to cover your space

for the record, depending on your budget, you may be able to find renovated apartments in Boston w/ central AC. obviously, not as many as in the SE, but if you can afford them, you can check out some larger, newer buildings/hi-rises

of course, from what I've read/heard, summer in Boston hasn't really been all that great so far, so who knows, at this rate, you may not even need an AC unit!
