hello,
we are small family me and my wife , we are going to move to boston from morroco ,and we have not yet our ssn , my question is: it's possible to rent a small appt or studio without ssn? if no what's the solution for us?

You should get an ssn as soon as possible. It might be difficult to find a rental property without an ssn, because the landlord may want to do a credit check, and might request an ssn as a way of identifying you to the credit bureau. You could find rental properties without any kind of background check, but often these will be run by disreputable small-time landlords, and may not be places you would want to live.
In any case, you need an ssn for a number of purposes in the U.S., including holding a job, so this is something to take care of as soon as you can find it practical to do so. Below is a link to the Social Security website. There should be information there about how to obtain an ssn when you will be moving to the U.S. from another country.
