Hi,

My husband and I are relocating to Boston from Scotland. I've done several searches on the net but haven't really found any useful info. Can anyone suggest a nice place to live in Boston.

My husband will be working in Middleton but doesn't mind traveling/driving for and hour, hour and half to his place of work.

We don't hav any children, so schools are not an issue for us.

We are aged early to mid 40's.

I would be most grateful of any help and advise.

Cheers

How about Marblehead or Gloucester? Both very pretty seaside communities with a reasonable commute distance to Middleton. Marblehead has more tourists and is more expensive but quite attractive with lots to do. Gloucester is more economically diverse and more reasonably priced. The beaches are beautiful, there's an active artists community there, and always plenty to do. Cute shops, a few really welcoming bars, good restaurants. Parts of it feel somewhat gritty but much of it is very nice.
