I have Sprint and it is absolutely HORRENDOUS. Terrible reception, sometimes I will send someone a text and they won't receive it until the next day! ...I had Verizon and liked it much better. I always had good signal reception with them.

I personally have no experience with the iPhone, but I can tell you why I never went with them for cellular service. The "service" I received at the Apple building close to Copley Square was TERRIBLE. A bunch of pressuring hawks who look to run anyone out of the building that has been there for more than 20-30 minutes. I'm not sure which tools are worse for cellular service, the iPhones or the tools selling them.

Just a quick clarification... Apple and AT&T are two different companies. Apple would have nothing to do with cellular service, "service".

It's quite possible to use AT&T without having to get an iPhone... I just can't imagine why anyone would bother.
