I'll be moving to boston to study and am thinking of renting a place of st paul street. is the area safe and accessible?

St Paul st is a great area in my opinion, I'd say I like the areas closer to beacon, then comm, but all in all very convienent place to live. You'll be close to either the B or C line (both have a st paul st stop) so it'll be a quick ride inbound, or outbound. If you're going to bu, its about as close as you can ask for.

There are a few nice parks on st paul aswell, and I think pretty much every building I've seen looks pretty nice. Perfect place for a student, better then most options in allston

It's a great area. As the previous poster mentioned, if you need T access, the blocks closer to Commonwealth Ave (Comm Ave) and Beacon St. are ideal. St. Paul going South (closer to Aspinwall St.) is more of a haul to the T, especially for a student with a bag full of books. Some of it just depends where you're going to school.
