We will be visiting for a week to scout out houses in the Front Range along the I-70 corridor. Probably north to Loveland and south to Castle Pines.

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay for the week ?

Thanks

I just came back from a trip there. We stayed at the La Quinta Inn at 10179 Church Ranch Way in
Westminster and liked it. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, free internet access, breakfast, clean pool and jacuzzi, easy access to everywhere, even a kitchenette in the room. Downside, a bit dated. But for the cost, pretty good base of operations. Not endorsing all La Quinta Inns, just offering the one we have experience with while looking around.

We plan to use vrbo.com to find a place to rent in Boulder. There are some good places listed and prices are comparable to a hotel. Craiglist.com may also list vacation rentals.

The Westminster area is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a decent price while scoping out homes along that long distance you have specified between.

I live in Louisville (previously Superior), and they have 4 hotels RIGHT off Hwy 36, plus your moments away from the E470 Toll road which could be an easier commute when going south to say Centennial/Parker/Castle Pines & avoiding the jams that can occur on I-25 closer to Denver.

If you are looking for rentals, there are soo many on the internet now if you know what you want. Housing Helpers has some good people working there & they take your specifics into consideration when speaking to them on the phone. The website does not fine tune specifics as well as talking to them, but I used Craigslist, looked at online papers (Denverpost, dailycamera.com), and CL, and have found pretty good housing so far!

Good luck to you!
