Its very easy to appear non-racist when you have a98% homogenous white population. Ask a black man in Boulder how he feels, if you can find one. We are educated racists as as I said, not overt. And for the most part we woould swear we are not, but let a black family move into Table mesa and watch the White Flight.

"White Flight", LOL! There are blacks in Table Mesa. Why pick on that neighborhood?

Actually, Boulder is only 83% white non-Hispanic, but only 0.9% black.

But you have over 20 brewpubs and they are ALL good. Also, the food in Boulder is quite good as well. I agree, there are MANY in shape people and if you have a gut, you aren't the norm, but the food and drink is great! If you live close to the foothill side, and you are fat, I would say you would really stick out.

To the OP, I think you'd have a higher chance of being brow-beaten for eating a steak than being a minority. Boulder, the "Berkeley of the Rockies," seems more politically-correct than racist. At least that is my impression.

Homeless guys are usually not the brightest bulbs. Usually some tool who is leeching off his parents to get loaded "on the scene (i.e. Pearl Street)." Unfortunately, the liberal meccas tend to attract and tolerate this human flotsam more than most places. I can't stand such obnoxious leeches.

The "liberal mecca" of downtown Colorado Springs is full of homeless too....so much for that theory.
