I just yesterday saw an article that claimed house prices in Longmont have gone up 24% this past year!

Good morning to all.

One note about recommending realtors: please send those via DM, city-data doesn't allow that in the open forums - it's considered advertising.

It is a seller's market. Offers are coming in fast and furious -- many homes being sold for more than asking price. Our friends lost out on a great house because they didn't want to bid over asking price and they are kicking themselves.

Thanks for the heads up about about market conditions.

I guess I can see why great houses are selling quickly and above asking price, as judging from Redfin there are lots of houses than look kinda meh, and only a few that look really nice. I guess people who love their homes aren't selling.
