Why dont they just create a "team" of people that can walk or ride a bike to patrol the trails for this kinda stuff? If anyone is caught , then slap them with a hefty fine. I am not for restrictions but if you cant take the responsibilities of being a dog owner and NOT leaving dog **** laying around well they need a wake up call..

Maybe someone should go **** on their door step or lawn and see how they react lol .

The Open Space is huge. They have Rangers, but it's impossible to have enough of them to monitor all the trails.

We live in the Great West. Let us learn from history and do what was done in the Old West; adapted to modern times. Give cash bounties for the knowledge that is given to law enforcement for the successful prosecution of these miscreants and the violation of dog ordinances.

With some of these problem dog owners, it would be more necessary to apply "dead or alive" but unfortunately that is not an acceptable in our "sensible" times by the squeamish Boulder liberals. Yet, it would sure be more satisfying to see the miserable dog owner brought to the court house for the bounty, tied over the hood of a car.

^That is it! I love it. Where is my gun, my net--I am going hunting for a dog owner.

Poop sniffing is my business.

Where the poop goes, the nose know.

It's a still a better situation then when I was a kid. People seemed to have just as many dogs but they (the dogs that is) mostly lived outside, pooped where they felt like it, and generally had the run of the neighborhood.

Nothing they do in Boulder surprises me. It's almost as much of a nanny state as New York City.

I've actually seen people in Boulder riding bikes pulling those tent-like baby wagons with a dog inside.

I remember not so long ago Boulder folks got in a tizzy about children drawing on their driveways with chalk.

Now they're poisoning dogs with tainted meatballs. WTF is wrong with these Boulderites?
